Do you know yourself? Truly know what you like, what you don't like? Do you truly even feel like you know what you want to eat for lunch today?

In today's society, it feels as though we can easily get swayed to what others think, say and feel. If it's online, it's definitely gotta be right, right?

In my book, Uncover Your Story, Discover Your Life, I talk a lot about how to rediscover yourself; what you like to do, what lights your fire, what makes your world go round. As we get older, there's a tendency to forget learning about ourselves. We raise children, we deal our spouse and their needs, we rush off to a job we don't even like and wake up decades later pondering, what was it that I used to love doing?

Here are a few questions as taken from my book to get the creative juices flowing and help you realign yourself back with the true, real you!

Take some time and go through these questions. Be sure to have a journal or notebook on hand.

LIST YOUR TALENTS, GIFTS, AND SKILLS

Ø  What do people say you’re good at?

Ø  What do you think you’re good at?

Ø  What are some learned skills?

Ø  What comes easily to you?

Ø  What gift have you been given that you’ve had since birth?

Tomorrow, in the 2nd part of this post, I'll give you some more thought-provoking questions to help you learn more about the REAL you.
